Default White spots on my neck?

I have recently started to notice these small white spots appearing on my neck near my ear! I'm scared this is the same thing Michael Jackson had, vitiligo. Anyone with knowledge on this able to help me identify it?! I've attached pictures so you can check for yourself. I have been stressing over this for the past couple weeks and would be more than thankful if anyone could help me out.

    Cheers!

do you have such lesion on any other parts of the body..?
Do other members of the family have such lesion?

No it doesn't itch, I live in Midwest City, Oklahoma. I don't have it anywhere on my body. It hasn't spread since I've noticed it about a month ago and no other family members have anything like this.

Thanks for ur response Marc. Your condition looks like pityriasis versicolor, which is common yeast infection. Anti-fungal medications like topical ketoconazole, clotrimazole, selenium sulfide might help resolve the lesion. Twice daily applications of topical anti-fungal for at-least 2 weeks followed by once daily for more 2 weeks is suggested for better result.

Being said that, diagnosis on the Internet with just a pic may sometime vary, so personal consultation with dermatologist and if needed perform wood light examination or KOH is suggested to rule out other possible causes like vitiligo, pityriasis alba etc..

My elder brother also had these small white spots on his back. earlier he don't use to take care but after few month it started spreading to other parts. And then he consulted dermatologist and was recommended a shampoo(i don't remember the name). After using that shampoo his marks disappeared slowly. I don't understand why dermatologist recommended shampoo.

They might just be sun spots.. When I was about 3 months we went to Florida on vacation and belly got white spots and my doctor said it's just sensitive skin from the sun.

    Hi BigJones24

As I already mentioned in my another post I was also facing Hyperpigmentation and one of my friends recommended me to use Cysteamine Cream. After using it my spots were reduced after few weeks. You must try it.
