I am not familiar with the lotion you mention. Is Vichy Normaderm Hydrating Lotion the full name given to the lotion and did it have any instructions with it on or inside the packaging?
So I've been using three different products to try and improve my complexion and reduce the visibility of my pores.
Daily routine for the past two months has been: use Garnier Pure Scrub while in shower. Then after drying my face use the Garnier Pure Toner. Finally after waiting for my face to dry (without rinsing the toner off) use the Garnier Pure Moisturizer. I saw a slight improvement for my overall complexion but little has changed in regards to the visibility of my pores.
Today while buying another bottle of the scrub, I asked the woman in the cosmetics department if she could recommend anything to help with my pores. She recommended and I bought a bottle of Vichy Normaderm Hydrating Lotion. She called it a mask which means absolutely nothing to me.
So finally, my question is, how does the Vichy mix with my other three products that I've been using? Do I simply replace the Garnier Moisturizer with the Vichy Lotion? Do I keep using the toner?

The directions for the lotion simply say to apply after having cleaned your face. Here is a link to the actual product page: http://www.vichyusa.com/_us/_en/face...ing-lotion.htm
You can use both products together. Garnier and Vichy are both very good. I think most people will choose a few different products from different lines.
Use the Vichy after you have cleansed your face.
Thanks for your reply. I wanted to be sure before I answered your question. Y34963 has answered your question but I want to add.
The product contains salicylic and glycolic acid. These used at a high % act as a peel and and cause the skin to shed its top layer, promoting quicker skin turn over which is beneficial to acne and blemish prone skin. This is not at that strength but you may notice the skin becoming dry and possibly slightly flaking so its best to follow this with a moisturiser. I personally would only use this once a day but if you notice what I have described then you may want to reduce it to every other day or twice a week until you skin is more used to it. My preference would be at night.
Hope I have been of some help.
Thanks for helping me out. So just to clarify, I should wash the Vichy product off before applying any sort of moisturizer. And do you recommend using the toner before after the Vichy lotion? The toner doesn't explicitly mention needing to be washed off, but I can't help but think that doing so before applying the Vichy lotion would be a good idea.
No you don't wash it off but make sure your skin is completely dry before applying the Vichy lotion and again wait until that is completely dry before applying your evening moisturiser. I personally would use the toner during the day and switch it for the Vichy lotion at night. So you cleanse as normal, apply either the toner or Vichy lotion then follow with the Garnier moisturiser.
Thank you both for your help Pepsimax and y34963! The tips and advice have been great.
You're very welcome. We would love to hear back from you regarding your progress and what you think of the new product.
