Default help, a patch of leathery skin on my thigh

    hi friends
I need to figure out why only a patch of my skin looks like the top portion of this picture, it's not discolored or dark. it's even with the rest of my skin but the texture is so different and it's getting worse over time only in that one spot?!

I'm 28 female, I barely drink 2 cups of water a day because I hate how it makes me feel.

so my skin is dry, and that patch of skin is located over the outer side of my thigh where I have some fat. maybe friction is causing it?

I'm freaking out about this because the rest of my skin is fine

what can I do to make it look better? it''s hurting my confidence
