nothing works!!

hey guys! so i really need your help...i dont seem to be able to find anything that really helps my skin. There is one thing that keeps my skin ok, but its not helping get rid of any pimples. Thats cetaphil.

~I have oily skin...it's not crazy oily, just oily. I don't seem to react well to the acne products with salicyic (idk how to spell it) acid in it. (or when it is the main ingredient) alot of nuetrogena products wont work for me, and some clean and clear won't work for me. I also tried an acne soap from an all natural store and i think the main ingredient was Sulfur. That reacted terrible with my skin. I have also used proactive & i think it made my face worse. Sorry to ramble on, just wanted to let you guys kno everything. is anyone else going through this? just wondered if anyone can help me...thanks!!

Try it with products containing benzoyl peroxide and wash it 2 times a day if it suits you.

If realy nothing works i'd suggest to consult a graduated medical dermatologist, it may be a problem that lies depper and maybe you can get rid of your pimple with a pharmaceutical therapy. A friend of mine had a big sucess with such a therapy.

hmmm... benzoyl peroxide burns and dries your skin up like crazy thou.... like proactive... its mostly water and benzoyl peroxide and it did NOT work for me nor anyone around me...

I think you should rather use a spot treatment containing salicylic acid/benzoyl peroxide etc. In fact, try using Obagi Tretinoin cream 0.25 per cent. It should help.

I have never tried Obagi myself but I heared they do help reducing acne and acne scars.I believe it contains ingreedients(chemicals)that peel the surface skin off.

Make sure you protect your skin from "SUN" after using the products like Obagi or done any kind of peeling!! Your skin is SUPER sensitive afterwards... Wear sunscreen SPF30 and UP... otherwise... it will increase the chance of you getting BAD wrinkles and UGLY dark stops in the future
