Default Did you Loose your Virginity before Wedding

I'm unmarried and already lost my virginity. I was just wondeering, why do people loose their virginity before wedding? We (boys) keep on looking for a virgin girls. Knowing we are not virgins anymore. Why is it so. Can you give me some reason ,if it's based on your life.

i lost my virginity when i was 18. i regret it with all my heart. the problem is with you guys who have already lost their virginity it is supposed to be a mature growing up thing. the double standard for us girls is that we are supposed to save ourselves for marriage. men and women think differently because we were taught differently. women when they lose their virginity are declared bad, wicked, whore. for men it is a gold medal for a woman it is a banner saying we are bad. i was intoxitcated when i lost my virginity. if i wasn't drinking i probably wouldn't have gone thru with it. i felt ashamed and he felt like he won something. i lost. morality today really sucks. there are 12 year olds having sex. (they're curious) it doesn't make it right. Why do you boys keep looking for virgins. so you can get another badge? i often wondered. i am single today. my husband cheated on me after 17 years of marriage. i was in another relationship for 10 years that ended in him cheating on me. i gave up on men. i live a life of celebacy. I enjoyed sex very much. it is hard for me to stay celebate but i promised myself i would. when you find that special woman, respect her, love her, and stay faithful to her. there is no better way to find happiness in marriage. share, have a 50/50 relationship. give and take for both. stay with your beliefs. love can be forever.

yea vencasand is true boys think they have got gold medals when they have sex with girls while girls have to just sit and cry. This world is just like that every time girls are understimated and looked down. This question really needs to be solved.

I didn't loose my virginity i rather enjoyed when i was 16. Its not like its a crime or something my friend, its our right .

Why? because we people are being raised in a very open-minded community or unlike before where pornographic materials, movies and any other adult stuffs are not yet available in the market and the society was not open minded.

Because men including myself act more like animals then women do.

its like "The monkey see, monkey do syndrome" (John did it, so why not me do it)

Hmmm, this is interesting and i relate to what everyone has said! Sex is not a bad thing, its a wonderful experiance that you share with someone special! You just have to make sure that the person you are with is special for you and you are special for them!!

I think religion has played a big part in teaching women that sex is bad.

shona i think you are right when you said that religion played a big part in teaching about sexual value. where were the guys when we learned this? were they deaf, asleep. i truly enjoyed sex with a true love. too bad the true love was only on my part. the sexiest man in the world is a man who loves his wife and would never cheat. we need to see more of that. what you think?

Its just ‘meant to be done.’ so there is nothing wrong ,but again religion plays an important part. and yea sometimes religions might be right. Lets say if each and everybody in this world started having sex with their known ones starting early 15-16 . would there be anyone interested in happy marriage life and bringing up their kids and family.

And again marriage is not just a sex and having a virgin girl or boy won't make our marriage life better .. all it counts is how truthful, caring and loving is your partner. whatever the past i always try to live in the present. All i need is a truthful partner who can fully support me in every steps i want her.

yes i did loose and i don't think its bad either.. its just a part of your life. many people think as religious that if we loose virginity before marriage we'll go to hell.. if its was real heaven would be empty then.

I think we do need to see much more true love vencasand where sex is concerned. I think most of us agree that when you are in a loving relationship sex is never a bad thing, its just another way of showing your love for one and another. Sex becomes bad when people what control over the other person or when people feel like their bodies are worthless and that having sex with someone means nothing!! If we all respect ourselves and each other maybe things would be much more peaceful.... oh and proper sex education in schools!
