Default How Often do you Exfoliate?

I usually do it once a month, but I recently bought a new Garnier Exfoliator and i love it. Plus in the winter, i want to make sure I get off the dead skin off!

    Can you exfoliate too much?

    Any other favorite exfoliators?

microfiber cloths are good just don't rub too hard. you can use them daily. body scrubs can be used once a week if necessary.

For me it is about twice a week - I use a normal facial exfoliator and an exfoliating sponge for the face. Just enough to lift dead skin cells leaving smoother softer skin :-)

I dont think daily exfoliation for your face is good for your skin, I recommend twice a week.

Daily exfoliation is not a good idea. Actually once a month is enough. You do not want to over do it.

I also agreed with Kelly. I often exfoliate twice a week.

I always exfoliate once a week. I use a facial exfoliator. Usually every Monday morning. After a weekend of being out and about, out in the city, it's nice to pay my skin a bit of attention at the start of the week. I will exfoliate a second time if I wake up and I feel my skin looks/feels congested. It's a nice form of pampering, I do it after steaming my face.

lucy don't steam your face too long as it might cause broken capilaries in your skin.

thanks Vencasand, in my opinion I don't, usually keep the flannel/wash cloth on my face for about 10-20 seconds.

And finish off with cold water to close the pores.
