I'd prefer a naturopath than a dermatologist for advice. Your skin is a reflection of how healthy you are on the inside. If your liver is congested your body uses the skin as a means to eliminate toxins.

Oils are one of the oldest, if not the oldest, substances used for skin care. There are many different oils that can be used on the skin. Each oil has its own special properties that benefit the skin in some way. The type of oil you choose for your skin care depends on your type of skin, your needs, the cost and what is available to you.

Typically when oils are used for skin care they are used as a carrier, or base oil, for other ingredients, such as essential oils. Although the carrier oils usually have cosmetic benefits in their own right, the addition of essential oils can enhance them.

Your skin is your body's biggest organ. And just like any other organ, skin can have problems, from cradle cap in newborns to age spots in elders. One of the most important ways to take care of your skin is to protect it from the sun.Make sure to remove eye makeup with a proper makeup remover.

If your skin is oily and you just keep washing it, your face will keep producing more and more oil to make up for it. On the flip side, if you moisturize it signals to your face to stop producing as much oil... sounds kind of weird at first, but I swear by it.

I've literally been obsessed with LuLu Blossom lately. She makes a good natural product, so you don't have any of the alcohol (it'll dry your skin out... hence prompting it to make more oil!) or nasty ingredients that can actually damage your skin and body in the long term.

Hempseed Oil and Raw Honey will be my top recommendation for oily acne-prone skin. It helps to protect your skin and reduce skin irritation.
