From experience, I don't think you should try it if you have very sensitive skin. For me it didn't clear away my pimples or reduce them, it only added to my problem redness & inflammation. If you don't think you will have this problem with your skin, go for it. When I couldn't afford my facial cleanser, I always wiped (gentle no harsh rubbing) over my acne with alcohol and had good results.

Why would someone use toothpaste for acne when there are a lot of tested creams that works for acne?
Do you know what seborrheic keratosis is?

Colored toothpaste shouldn't be used and left on pimples for longer than 5 minutes and also can't cure acne forever.

Toothpaste is supposed to dry out the pimple reducing redness and swelling, but I would not recommend using it. Formulas of toothpaste very from one brand to another, and some contain ingredients that can be very irritating for your skin. It is much safer to use slay based face mask. If will work just as well and has lower chances of irritating your skin.

Toothpaste contains certain ingredients -- baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, menthol, essential oils -- that cause pimples to dry out. There are better treatments for acne but you can certainly try toothpaste and I also have tried this technique many times.
