Lentigo is most often confused with freckles. These hyper-pigmented spots, which may appear at any age are usually darker then freckles and neither increase in darkness in summer nor fade in winter.whereas freckles usually darkens in summer and fade in winter and freckles are only present in light exposed skin areas.
