I tried applying vitamin e oil to my acne scars and it didn't help at all. I used an entire bottle of soft gel capsules, one capsule a night. It was very sticky, so I couldn't move while sleeping. And Vitamin E in its pure form stinks! I'll try lemon juice, but won't that irritate my skin?

Vitamin E suits better for oily skins rather than dry skins. For oily skins, Vitamin E removes dark spots, few pigmentations too. This factor differs for various climate. Overall View of Vitamin E is, " it wont helps most, it helps only few oily skin people".

I don't know about freckles, but vitamin E may help a bit with dark spots. It is pretty sticky and oily, so it's definitely something you would want to apply at night. Vitamin E capsules are definitely one of those things that is great to have around all the time. It's great for it's healing properties, it helps the appearance of scars, and it's also good to take as a supplement for a variety of things. So give it a try for the dark spots...you'll probably have to use it for a while before you notice any difference.

Vitamin E helps slow down the aging process and aid in tissue (skin) repair. Eat Vitamin E rich foods such as Almonds, Cashews, Peanuts, sunflower oil, sesame oil, and peanut oil. Also include Vitamin C rich foods such as kiwi, strawberries, guava, papaya, grapes, oranges, and tomatoes.
