Premature aging is a serious skin concern among women. Wrinkles and fine lines are associated with aging skin. However, when they start appearing well before than when they actually should, it is an even more serious concern. That is why it is important to prevent their appearance by taking adequate measures.
Here are some key steps that would help with good skin care.
Sun Protection
The prime cause of premature aging is prolonged and unprotected exposure to sunlight. That’s why you should take adequate measures to protect your skin against the harmful ultraviolet radiation of the sunlight. Use a broad spectrum sunscreen everyday before you venture out in the sun.
Stop Smoking
Cigarette smokers are more likely to develop premature wrinkles and fine lines on their skin. This is because nicotine speeds up the aging process and eliminates the oxygen contents of the skin, as a result of which the cell renewal process slows down. Fine lines develop around the mouth because heavy smokers purse their lips to draw on cigarettes.
Exfoliate Regularly
Use an exfoliator or gentle facial scrub, twice or thrice a week to scrape off the dead skin cells from the skin surface. This reveals the fresh new cells from underneath and increases the blood flow to the top layers of the skin. As a result, the cell renewal process is promoted and the skin appears more radiant and looks younger.
Use Anti Aging Skin Care Products
Don’t wait till you notice the first wrinkle on your face to start using anti aging skin care products. Start well in advance and use anti aging products to prevent and delay the signs of aging like wrinkles and fine lines.
Use Quality Cosmetics
Make-up and cosmetics contain harsh ingredients that contribute to deterioratingskin quality in the long run. Therefore, always be careful when choosing your cosmetics. Always use quality cosmetics and make-up ingredients. In fact, look for products that contain UV filters and skin nourishing ingredients.
Wrinkles can be reduced by exfoliating regularly with alpha hydroxy acid peels. you also need to avoid sunlight which accelerates skin aging.
i heard that topical vitamins like ascorbic acid and niacinamide are very good in preventing Wrinkles on the skin. salicylic peels acid peels and glycolic acid peels also helps in preventing wrinkles.
I didn’t think quality products were critical to skin care until I started getting older. I started using better products, and I feel like my skin looks better than it did in college.
