I prefer soap because for some reason I feel fresh when I use it. If I use body wash my skin feels smooth, yes, but the fresh feeling is not there. Who can relate?

I like using both, actually. I use them alternately. But when I want to spoil myself, I go for my body wash. I like scented ones like the French Pear from Ecoya, because it's very much more relaxing and indulgent. Using a body wash also makes my skin feel smoother and more nourished, compared to when I use my regular Lux bath soap.

I prefer body washes since I get to use loofah regularly. This removes dead skin cells and there is less requirement for scrubbing.
