Mistakes #1 - Whenever a new skin care product is introduced on the market a number of people are very eager to try it out. We have a tendency to believe that this new product is exactly what we are looking for and don't bother reading the ingredients or check to see if there is any clinical proof of their claims. For me,Common mistakes are:-
1.Most of the people does not pay attention to the ingredients of the product.
2.People are mad about brands.
Lack of will power does it for me. I believe all the marketing hype even though I know it's hype. But what if this one is telling the truth is what my brain says. So I buy it...use it for a short while...then move onto the next big advertised things.
So I guess that makes my biggest mistake....I'm a sucker. PT Barnum was right.
I think the no. 1 common mistake is purchasing skin products that is not suitable/compatible on their skin.
believing everything you read or hear about a product does not make it a good product for you. read the ingredients. get a sample. try the product before you buy. people spend so much money on products they never use because their skin can't tolerate it.
When you do buy a product that isn't suitable most stores will refund your money. Before you buy ask what their policy is on returning a product.
Before purchasing any product must read its ingredients and check its manufacturing date.Try a sample, that its suits you or not.
I feel that the most common mistake that people usually do is that most are unaware of their skin types and textures. It is true that a product which suits one, may not work for another. Hence, it is important to know your skin and the product formulations which works well for the texture. Never follow what others do, it is best to try it yourself and get satisfied.
I think that most of us encounter the biggest problem when we get caught up in the hype of a product and dont consider wether or not it would be suitable for our skin. After wasting a hell of a lot of money I always try to get a tester first.
