Default Is sunscreen an unnecessary luxury?

Think again, the case for sun protection is this simple:
sun exposure causes skin cancer and research has proved that
skin cancer is the commonest form of cancer
malignant melanoma is the most dangerous form of cancer and numbers are rising each year

Couldnt agree more... I cringe at the days when I didn't wear a speck of sunscreen, my skin paid for it but I'm trying to repair the damage. I no longer use chemical sunscreens from the drug store either, zinc oxide physical sunscreens protect the best from UVA rays - see below.

It is the best product to prevent fine lines and wrinkles. Remember to put it on last as well.

Sunscreen is awesome - I'd just use a natural one without all the chemicals.

You all are exactly right. Chemical sunscreens have a long list of chemicals that they use to filter UV rays, and they are also made with Oxyzbenzone, which can cause break outs. Most chemical sunscreens produce free radicals, which causes your skin to age. Mineral sunscreens are made with Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide, which do not cause break outs. Mineral sunscreens protect your skin from UV rays by deflecting or blocking the sun's rays. They do not produce free radicals. Please use mineral sunscreens. You won't regret it!

If you already moisturize as a part of your skin care regimen, it's a great idea to use a moisturizer with SPF. If you're interested, we offer a fantastic line of SPF moisturizers for normal, dry and oily skin. You can check them out at [URL=Under Review].

Why not. Sun Screen is necessary to protect our skin from UV rays.
