Default Dry Skin On and Around Nose. Help please.

I've tried exfoliating and it makes it worse. I've tried moisturizer and it makes my skin break out. What should I do?

Hi William. In order to better help you, brings us more information about your issue. Are you having an allergic reaction?, when did it start having skin dryness? (before or after exfoliating your skin), do you remember any activity before that can cause this problem? (going to swim, something you ate...)

    Please kindly reply.

Your condition looks like seborrheic dermatitis, which is quite common during winter months.. But anyway could u please upload some clear pics so we can confirm? Seborrheic dermatitis respond well to anti-fungal medications like topical ketoconazole, ciclopirox, etc....mild corticosteroid (not exceeding 2 wks) cream may be needed in severe case....

I looked up some pictures of seborrheic dermatitis and it looks like what I have. It is also extremely cold here, much too cold for me. And I don't ever remember complaining about this during the summer when it gets extremely hot. Looks like I have one more reason to move to Florida before next winter...

Well try some antifungal medications and see if works. Do update on your condition, we are eager to know.

Take steam for around 10 min and then use a skin moisturizer.
