Hello Lara.
Welcome on dermatalk.com!
Do you know what seborrheic keratosis is?
Actually my skin is dry in winter season and i use to drink 1-2 litre water per day but still there is no impact on it.
Hi Lara. Water certainly will help keep you hydrated, which helps the skin. However, water alone won't be enough to keep skin fully hydrated without the right skin care regimen for dry skin. The best thing for dry skin, is to first exfoliate, in order to remove dead skin cells so your moisturizer penetrates deeper to do its job. This way, you won't get a "quick fix" moisture surge that later has your skin revert back to it's dry state again. In other words, your skin won't just get "short-term" moisture, your skin will stay that way (moisturized).
Hello Lara and welcome to dermatalk. Following on from Tara's advice you could try a natural moisturiser like unrefined shea butter, jojoba oil or coconut oil, just to name a few. Everyone has their favourite, while mine is shea butter. As these are natural products they do not contain anything that dries out the skin. Preparing the skin before use will ensure your skin gets the best benefit from them.
