Only moisturizer will not treat the lesion. You need ultra potent steroid like halobetasol or clobetasol applied atleast for 4-6 weeks along with moisturizer . If its itching taking antihistamines on regular basis for 3-4 weeks will help.

If very irritation or itchy can add mild steroids to the cream to soothe irritation. Apply onto bumps twice a day until they clear up.
