I Burnt Myself Using 70% lactic acid peel, how bad is it and what can I do?

A few days ago I did a 70% lactic acid peel, I’ve done peels before and my skin tolerated it, this time I was an IDIOT.

I use a body lotion that I mix with food grade ascorbic acid, and left that on overnight thinking it would help the peel heal faster. It definitely burnt my skin.

Now I am worried about my skin healing, if it will be discolored.

I am applying lubriderm lotion, Vaseline, glycerin, and udder balm (dr naylors).

How bad will it be when it heals, does it look normal? What should I do?

  1. Doesnt look like it will leave scar, just make sure to apply good moisturizer for at least 4-6 weeks.
