TINY RED DOTS! Skin-to-skin contact with infected child. Future scabies?

I went to my aunt’s house who’s daughter was infected with mites (she told me this) and said that they had mites all over the house the past few days but “took care of it”. Anyways, the child touched me with his hand a few times and was in close proximity to me for a little while as well.

I’ve attached a couple pictures using the flash setting on my camera to capture the red dots. They are very small and don’t look like scabies pictures I’ve seen online but maybe this is because it has only been 24 hours since the time of contact with the infected child. There are several of these I have found between both of my arms but have not seen any elsewhere. They have a very small bump to them as well.

If they are scabies mites what can I do right now to prevent possible further infection?

Thank you very much for your time.
